According to accident reports released Friday:


260th Rd. east of Nighthawk Rd.

Benjamin Reiswig, 22, Hillsboro, was driving a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville eastbound on 260th Rd. at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 24 when he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the south ditch and rolled over. Sheriff’s officer Mike Ottensmeier reported alcohol as a contributing factor, and Reiswig was charged with driving under the influence. The vehicle suffered extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

US-56 north of 260th Rd., Milepost 313

James Dingler, 45, Council Grove, hit a deer with his 2015 Ford Taurus at 7:10 p.m. Nov. 24.

He was able to drive from the scene.

US-56/77 south of 257th Rd.

Matthew Stuchlik, 29, Topeka, hit and killed a deer with his 2014 Kia Forte at 6:20 p.m. Nov. 21.

He was able to drive from the scene.
