According to law enforcement reports released Saturday:

Marion county

US-56 and Nighthawk Rd.

A 2008 Ford Focus, driven by Darrel Tajchman, hit a deer at 11:40 p.m. Aug. 25. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

US-77 and K-150

A 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by Woodrow Crawshaw Jr., 76, Marion, was northbound on US-77 approaching the K-150 junction. Police reported that a semi ran through a stop sign in front of him at 5:58 a.m. Aug. 24. Crawshaw drove on the right shoulder to avoid the semi and went across K-150 hitting a stop sign in the center of K-150, and coming to a rest on the westbound shoulder of K-150 facing east.

US-77 north of 190th Rd.

Octavio Sandoval, 31, Elgin, Illinois, was driving southbound on US-77 with passengers Ireno Moreno, 28, Jose Villegas-Soto, 37, Jose Rodgrio, 29, and Emilano Moreno, 20, when the left rear tire fell off the 2005 Chevrolet 2500 he was driving. Sandoval then drove the truck, owned by Richardo Moreno, Wamego, off the shoulder of the road at 6:26 a.m. Aug. 27, causing it to overturn onto the driver’s side. The trailer the truck was pulling came loose and spilled concrete tools in it, breaking them. The truck was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Dewight Rd. east of Pawnee Rd.

A 2008 Nissan Altima, driven by Mary Ramsey, 70, Marion, was westbound on Dewight St. from Schlotthauer St., when she tried to stop but slid on the gravel road and hit the stop sign at Dewight St. and Pawnee Rd at 2 p.m. Aug. 26.
