Accident reports released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

K-256 at Cedar St. in Marion

A 2006 Mack concrete mixer driven by Kyle Edwards, 26, Peabody, and owned by Builders Concrete Supply of Newton rolled onto its side on a curve at 7 a.m. Oct. 3. Edwards was not injured. The road was closed for approximately 3 hours as the mixer was righted and then towed. Citations were issued for driving faster than conditions allowed and having unsafe tires.

190th and Kanza Rds.

Kendra Saez, 21, Hillsboro, was driving east on 190th Rd. in a 2006 Hyundai Accent at 12:20 a.m. Oct. 5 when she reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The Hyundai went into a ditch as it approached the intersection, crossed Kanza Rd., struck a fence and spun, and came to stop in a field. According to deputy Derek Calvert, a passenger, Brianna Gouvion, 22, Newton, was seriously injured and taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. An alcohol breath test result of .056 for Saenz was within legal limits. Calvert issued a citation for failure to report an accident.

US-77 between 250th and 260th Rds.

Doris Helean, 54, Wichita, was driving a 2008 Toyota Prius owned by Joy Waggoner of Minneola that struck and killed a deer at 12 p.m. Oct. 9. The vehicle was towed.

Eagle Rd. north of 160th Rd.

Richard Swink, 28, Hillsboro, was driving a Ford F-150 pickup that went into a ditch and rolled onto its side at 3 a.m. Oct. 6. Deputy Mike Ottensmeier’s report indicated driving too fast for conditions on the wet dirt road contributed to the accident. The vehicle was towed.

K-15 north of 210th Rd.

Everette Clark Jr., 61, Durham, struck a deer with a 2014 Chevrolet C25 owned by Lease Finance Partners of Wichita at 6:10 a.m. Oct. 11. The vehicle was driven from the scene.

US-50 west of Union Rd.

Mindy Carpenter, 51, Marion, struck a deer carcass with her 2012 Honda Civic at 6:45 a.m. Oct. 11. The Civic was towed.
