These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-50 west of Wagon Wheel Rd.

Leila A. Coester, 68, Cottonwood Falls, hit a deer with her 2004 Chevrolet Cruiser at 11:54 p.m. Oct. 17.

US-77 north of 20th Rd.

John F. Kline, 82, Herington, hit a deer with his 2015 Honda Accord at 7:25 p.m. Oct. 17. Neither Kline nor his passenger, Deanna J. Kline, 80, Herington, reported injury.

hillsboro

605 Orchard Dr.

Robert Nelson, Hillsboro, reported his 2007 Ford Taurus was struck in the parking lot of Dollar General Store and the driver of the car that struck it left the scene. The driver of the other car, Joyce K. Medley, 87, Hillsboro, admitted when she was contacted at home that she knew she had struck the other vehicle but did not believe the damage was enough to require a report.
