These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:


US-77 north of 230th Rd.

Curtis J. Calvert, 32, Wichita, hit a deer with a 2020 Ford Escape owned by Equip Lease LC, Wichita, at 5:45 p.m. Dec. 5. The Ford was towed.

Vista Rd. north of 350th Rd.

Joey A. Brunner, 39, Lost Springs, lost control of his 2009 Chevrolet Malibu, which entered the ditch and overturned at 7 a.m. Dec. 3.

US-77 north of 170th Rd.

Heather R. Durham, 39, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, hit a deer 2017 GMC Sierra at 10:45 a.m. Dec. 9.

170th Rd. west of Goldenrod Rd.

Mark A. Ward, 59, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 2015 Chevrolet Silverado at 5:10 p.m. Dec. 10.

60th Rd. east of Quail Creek Rd.

Dakota L. Dillashaw, 25, Florence, hit a deer with a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am owned by McKayla G. Oursler, Florence, at 7:15 a.m. Dec. 9.

Old Mill Rd. north of 120th Rd.

Gilbert W. Sudeman, 78, Hillsboro, was driving an all terrain vehicle when it veered to the right, hit an embankment, and overturned at 6:45 a.m. Dec. 4. Sudeman was thrown off the ATV. He was taken by ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

US-50 east of Yarrow Rd.

Donna J. Halfhill, 53, Tucumcari, New Mexico, hit a deer with her 2012 Ford F-15 at 9 p.m. Dec. 11.


Industrial Rd. and US-56

Caleb E. Sovde, 21, Canton, was driving a 1998 Chevrolet S10 at 4:10 p.m. Dec. 9 when he hit the rear left corner of a 2006 Nissan Titan owned by Trevor J. Troutt, 27, Lincolnville, who was stopped on Industrial Rd. at the intersection to US-56. The Nissan had minor damage to its driver’s side rear bumper, tailgate, and bed corner, while the Chevrolet had major damage to its passenger side hood, fender, and engine. Both vehicles were moved from the accident location prior to officer arrival. No injuries were reported.

600 block of Orchard Dr.

Kari K. Beetch, 57, Abilene, was pulling out of Dollar General’s parking lot onto Orchard Dr. in a 2011 GMC Acadia when she hit the rear left quarter panel of a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado owned by Ava M. Weisbeck, 18, Hillsboro, that was headed northeast on Orchard Dr.
