REPORTED

These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-77 north of 80th Rd.

Debra K. Weigart, 61, Marion, failed to stop a 2012 Ford Focus owned by 8th Judicial District Community Corrections department at a stop sign at the intersection of K-256 and US-77, driving into the path of an oncoming 2016 Honda Accord driven by Bryce Wright, 19, Wichita, at 7:20 p.m. Jan. 1. The Ford and Honda collided in the intersection.

The Honda, disabled and with no lights working, came to rest in the northbound lane, where it was struck by a 1993 Honda Accord owned by Angel M. Roman, Herington and driven by Daniel Roman, 32, Herington.

Cheyenne L. Pamp, a passenger in the Ford, Wright, and Roman did not report injury, but Weigart was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital in Marion.

300 block of S. Ash St.

Douglas M. Biehler, 58, Herington, was driving a 2020 Toyota Camry owned by James Biehler of the same address, when he backed into a gas meter at 5:07 p.m. Dec. 24 in the 300 block of S. Ash St. The vehicle had minor damage to its rear bumper.
