These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
US-56 north of 310th Rd.
Sarah B. Hendrix, 20, Udall, hit a raccoon at 1:13 a.m. Aug. 15 with her 2020 Chevrolet Sonata. Neither Hendrix nor her passenger, Joshua E. Mercer, 21, White City, reported injury. According to the report, Hendrix towed the car away.
K-15 north of 180th Rd.
Laura J. Bryant, 42, Tampa, hit a deer at 5:50 a.m. Aug. 17 with her 2014 Ford Escape.
290th Rd. west of K-15
Ginger K. Becker, 67, Durham, hit a deer at 6:26 p.m. Aug. 18 with her 2014 Honda Civic.
K-15 south of 120th Rd.
Roger K. Loewen, 76, Wichita, reported injury at 6:50 p.m. Aug. 19 when he drove his 2011 Ford Ranger into the rear of a 1978 Allis tractor pulling a hay rake driven by Brian G. Burkholder, 41, Hillsboro. The Ranger went into the east ditch and stopped. Burkholder pulled the tractor into a field entrance and stopped. Linda Loewen, 75, Wichita, a passenger in the Ranger, did not report injury. Loewen drove himself to get medical treatment. The Ranger was towed. Sgt. Travis Wilson’s report said the hay rake had no lights on the rear. No citations were issued.
330th Rd. west of Diamond Rd.
Tina M. Benda, 52, Lincolnville, hit a deer at 6:50 a.m. Aug. 20 with her 2016 Honda CR-V.
