ACCIDENTS
REPORTED
These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
Sunflower Rd. south of 160th Rd.
Michael A. Jeffrey, 56, Marion, was injured at 2:34 p.m. Jan. 23 when his 2001 Dodge Dakota overturned when he reached for his sunglasses, left the road to the right, overcorrected, and then left the road to the left. He was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital. The Dodge was towed.
US-77 north of 110th Rd.
Amy L. Boeckman, 31, Leon, hit a deer at 7 p.m. Jan. 24 with her 2017 Mazda MA6. Neither Boeckman nor her passenger, Sawyer Boeckman, 2, reported injury.
Indigo Rd. south of 170th Rd.
Skye N. Kurtz, 20, Hillsboro, lost control of her 2002 Chrysler Cruze at 1 a.m. Jan. 26 after sliding on ice. The Chrysler slid into the east ditch and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. Neither Kurtz nor her passengers, Prestly Kurtz, 1, and Rowyn Kurtz, 4, reported injury. The Chrysler was towed.
US-77 at US-56
Patricia L. Wyss, 41, Florence, was injured at 4:20 a.m. Jan. 26 when her 2002 Ford F-15 slid on ice and struck the west side of a bridge. She was assessed by emergency medical service but declined to be taken to a hospital.
US-50 west of Mustang Rd.
Angela D. Menjivar, 42, Peabody, hit a deer at 4:30 a.m. Jan. 28 with her 2014 Chevrolet CR-Z.
Indigo Rd. north of 140th Rd.
Debbra K. Jensen, 62, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 6:40 p.m. Jan. 28 with a 2019 Toyota Corolla owned by Toyota Lease Trust. The Toyota was towed.
