These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

150th Rd. east of Goldenrod Rd.

Richard B. Dunagan, 52, rural Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 2005 GMC Yukon at 5:30 a.m. May 17.

US-77 south of 180th Rd.

Danette L. Chermak, 55, Hutchinson, hit a deer with her 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer at 8:26 p.m. May 18. Andrew F. Chermak, 58, also of Hutchinson was a passenger at the time.

HILLSBORO

1st and Lincoln Sts.

After yielding to a vehicle that had been turning, a Postal Service truck clipped an unseen 2012 Toyota Camry that also had been in the intersection at 1:02 p.m. May 17.

Madison G. Hill, 22, Hillsboro, had been driving her Toyota west when it was struck by a southbound 1992 postal vehicle driven by Stephen C. Lewis Jr., 51, Herington.

Officer David Funk’s report said Lewis had been inattentive and failed to yield, but no citations were issued.

US-56 west of Jade Rd.

Malachi J. Eldridge, 42, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 2017 Jeep Cherokee at 11:15 p.m. May 19. Lori B. Carson, 32, of the same address was a passenger at the time.
