These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

Nighthawk Rd. west of 290th Rd.

James Branson-Thornhill, 36, Marion, drove into water on the roadway at 6 a.m. May 27. His 2011 Chevy Malibu suffered extensive damage and had to be towed.

Falcon Rd. west on 150th

Michael Mader, 37, Hillsboro, hit a deer with his 2005 Chevy Tahoe. at 4:30 a.m. June 1. He contacted police at 5:30 p.m. that day.

Wagonwheel Rd. north on US-77

Charles Mosqueda, 33, Manhattan, hit a deer with his 2020 Chevy Tahoe at 9 p.m. June 1. Abella Mosqueda, 10, and Braxton Mosqueda, 7, were passengers.

K-15 south of 230th Rd.

Sharon A. Sorensen, 59, Durham, hit a deer with her 2007 Chrysler Town and Country at 9:31 p.m. Thursday. The car sustained extensive damage and was towed.

US-56 west of Upland Rd.

Patrick N. Janssen, 37, Hutchinson, hit a deer with a 2011 Chevy Equinox at 9:57 p.m. Thursday. The Equinox, owned by Sarah Otto of the same Hutchinson address, sustained extensive damage and was towed. Otto, 38, and three children ages 5, 10, and 17 were passengers.

US-56 east of Upland Rd.

Brooklin P. Mathers, 19, of Bethany, Oklahoma hit a deer with her 2013 Toyota Camry at 10:46 p.m. Thursday. Amber Flummerfelt, 23, Lawrence, was a passenger.

290th Rd. east of Limestone Rd.

Briston M. Cross, 22, Lincolnville, hit a deer with his 2019 Ford Ranger at 3:06 a.m. Friday. His car sustained extensive damage and was towed.

US-50 west of Yarrow Rd.

Madison L. Marshall, 20, Manhattan, hit two escaped black cows belonging to Douglas A. Loewen with her 2016 Chevy Trax at 11:06 p.m. Friday. Her car sustained extensive damage and had to be towed.

120th south on Indigo Rd.

Sarah J. Sears, 37, Peabody, hit a deer at 8:55 p.m. Sunday with a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe owned by Jeremy Sears of the same Peabody address. An 11-year-old girl was a passenger at the time. The Hyundai sustained extensive damage and was towed.

Hillsboro

700 block of Western Heights

As he was leaving Sonic Drive-in at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, Garrett T. Maltbie, 16, Galva, hit an overhang with the awning of a pontoon boat he was towing. Neither Maltbie nor his passengers, Caleb E. Hoffner, Galva, and Cassidy K. Gerlach, Lindsborg, reported injury. He was driving a 2000 Ford pickup owned by Ty J. Maltbie, Galva. The boat belonged to Kenroy P. Wilson.
