These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-56/77 north of 340th Rd.

Brenda C. Madrigal, 36, Herington, drove her 2007 Honda Civic into a ditch at 7:10 a.m. Sept. 3 after it drifted onto the right shoulder and she losing control.

The car, which ended up sideways in the ditch, had to be towed. Deputy Aaron Christner’s report blamed the accident on inattentive driving. No injuries were report, and no tickets were issued.

HILLSBORO

500 block of Grand Ave.

Two vehicles parked next to each other at Grand Oaks Apartments, 506 W. Grand Ave., were damaged sometime before 2 p.m. Sept. 6.

A 2016 Hyundai Sonata owned by Tamara J. Waner of Bel Aire and a 2013 Chrysler 300 owned by David L. Herbel of Hillsboro both sustained unspecified damage, which was reported by Waner.

A courtesy report from Hillsboro police states that it is not known when and where the accident occurred or whether an additional vehicle was involved.
