These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

Sheriff

190th Rd. east of Limestone Rd.

Distracted by her phone and an animal, Calleigh Soyez, 21, Marion, ran off the road to the right at 7:22 p.m. Aug. 6. Her 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix re-entered the road before it left the road a second time to the right and came to a stop in the north ditch. The Grand Prix suffered disabling damage to its undercarriage. A no-passing sign also was damaged.

280th Rd. east of Sunflower Rd.

William Benda, 52, Marion, hit a deer with his 2012 Chevrolet Colorado on 280th Rd. The Colorado sustained minor damage to its front and passenger side.

US-56 near Remington Rd.

Gildardo Orea-Amador, El Paso, Texas, was driving east when a deer came out of the north ditch and struck his 2014 Chevrolet Cruze. The Cruze had damage to the front end and driver’s side but remained drivable.

Crystal Brown, 31, El Paso; Alvaro Amador-Gonzalez, 66, Chihuahua, Mexico; and Irene Amador-Gonzalez, 58, Chihuahua, Mexico, all passengers in the Cruze, did not report injury.

K-15 north of US-56

Laila Bagby, 20, Wichita, was southbound on K-15 when she lost focus and drove into a ditch, striking two road signs. Her vehicle crossed US-56 and came to rest in a field. Deputy Peyton Heidebrecht issued a ticket for driving while her license was suspended. Addison Walcher, 18, and Dayanara Walcher, 20, both of Wichita, were treated at Hillsboro Community Hospital for suspected minor injuries. A third passenger, Jerry Sellers, 19, Abilene, did not report injury.
