These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-56 north of 290th Rd.

Jacob J. Weber, 31, Manhattan, hit a deer at 8:17 p.m. Aug. 27 with a 2016 Honda HRV owned by passenger Kylie N. Weber, 33, of the same address. The vehicle remained drivable despite damage along its driver’s side. Watson Weber, 2, of the same address, also was a passenger.

HILLSBORO

600 block of S. Memorial Dr.

Diane S. Schmidt, 67, Hillsboro, backed her 2013 GMC Acadia out of a parking space and into a city sign post along during a farmers market at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Damage to the rear bumper of the vehicle, owned by Garvie D. Schmidt of the same address, was termed minor.
