These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-50 west of Quail Creek Rd.

Skylre L. Stucky, 19, rural Peabody, hit a deer at 6:40 p.m. Feb. 4 with her 2015 Chevrolet Silverado, which sustained damage described as minor to its right front, according to a report released Friday.

County lake heated dock

A hit-and-run driver caused damage characterized as minor before 11:50 a.m. Feb. 9 to the right front and hood of a legally parked 2001 Chevrolet S10 owned by David S. Smith of McPherson.

Kanza Rd. south of 170th Rd.

Janet N. Klenda, 34, rural Hillsboro, hit a deer at 5:23 p.m. Feb. 9 with her 2005 Buick LaCrosse, which ran off the road to the left but remained drivable with damage to its right front.

150th Rd. east of Falcon Rd.

Rebekah J. Walker, 27, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 7:10 a.m. Feb. 13 with her 2014 Nissan Rogue, which remained drivable with damage to its left front and hood.

MARION

Weldon St. east of Freeborn St.

Michelle M. Looper, 38, Marion. backed her 2013 Dodge Durango out of a day-care center’s driveway at 8:08 a.m. Feb. 14 and into the right side of an eastbound 2020 Dodge Journey owned and driven by Beatrice L. Holub, 32, who lives across the street.

Both vehicles remained drivable, according to interim chief Zach Hudlin’s report, which did not assign blame.

Cedar St. south of US-56

Suzanne R. Meier, 54, Goessel, hit a deer at 7:03 p.m. Saturday with her 2021 Ford Explorer, which sustained damage characterized as minor to its left front.

Grace A. Meier, 12, of the same address and Amily M. Boden, 13, of a different Goessel address were passengers.

The deer survived the collision, according to officer Dustin Woodford’s report.
