These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:
SHERIFF
K-15 south of 110th St.
Archie Howard, 42, Euless, Texas, drove his 2009 Mercedes 250 into the left ditch at 3:17 a.m. Nov. 6 while attempting to avoid a deer, according to one of 17 accident reports released Friday, more than two weeks after the wreck.
His car sustained disabling damage to its front, rear, and undercarriage and was towed.
Indigo Rd. north of 120th Rd.
Jodi L. Compton, 56, Wichita, hit a deer at 11:57 p.m. Nov. 11 with her 2011 Ford Edge, which sustained disabling damage to its front third and undercarriage and was towed.
US-56 west of K-15/Holly Rd.
James L. Ruble, 65, Lindsborg, hit a deer at 7:33 pm. Nov. 12 with his 2015 Ford F-150, which remained drivable with damage to its right front and hood.
Donna M. Ruble, 72, of the same address was riding in the pickup.
Sunrise Rd. north of 210th Rd.
Charles M. Holub, 57, rural Marion, hit a deer at 7:05 a.m. Nov. 13 with his 2022 Chevrolet Silverado CK20, which remained drivable with damage to its front and undercarriage.
Quail Creek Rd. north of US-56
Brian X. Nguyen, 17, rural Marion, was injured and taken by a parent to St. Luke Hospital, Marion, after he lost control of a 2006 Ford Mustang at 7 a.m. Nov. 14 and ran it off the road to the right, into a ditch, striking a culvert.
The wreck was reported to sheriff’s deputies more than two hours later.
The car, owned by Rebecca Escalante of the same address, sustained disabling damage to its front, right, hood, windshield, and undercarriage and was towed.
Deputy Bruce Burke’s report blamed the accident on inattentive, distracted driving too fast for conditions, but no tickets were listed as being issued.

Alexa M. Amman, 26, Marion, hit a deer at 5:55 p.m. Nov. 15 with her 2022 Ford Explorer, which sustained damage only to the driver’s mirror.
US-56 west of Sunrise Rd.
Stephen Glahn, 62, rural Marion, hit a deer at 5:37 p.m. Nov. 15 with this 2014 Chevrolet Traverse, which remained drivable with damage to its front, hood, and windshield.
Brian Klenda, 40, of a different rural Marion address was riding in the car.

Aries Countryman, 19, rural Marion, hit a deer at 6 p.m. Nov. 15 with his 2014 Ford Mustang, which sustained damage characterized as minor.
US-56 west of Remington Rd.
Amos L. Thompson, 43, Lyons, hit a deer at 6:26 a.m. Nov. 16 with his 2015 Chevrolet Cruze, which sustained disabling damage to its front third and was towed.
Carrie A. Thompson, 52, of the same address and Jace Thompson, also of the same address but whose age was redacted by the sheriff’s department from the open, public record of the accident, were riding in the car.
K-15 north of 290th Rd.
Richard Fulk, 74, Hesston, hit a deer at 10:56 p.m. Nov. 16 with his 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, which sustained disabling damage to its front, right, hood, and undercarriage and was towed.
Karen Fulk, 74, of the same address was a passenger.
US-50 west of Mustang Rd.
Medel Orozco-Castillo, 22, Dodge City, hit a deer at 6:52 a.m. Nov. 17 with his 2013 Chevrolet Cruze CVT, which sustained disabling damage to its left side and hood and was towed.
Citali Real, 21, of a different Dodge City address was riding in the car.
US-56/77 north of 270th Rd.
Jennifer R. Montgomery, 58, Lincolnville, hit a deer at 5:32 p.m. Nov. 18 with her 2020 Ford Edge, which remained drivable with damage to its left front.
140th Rd. west of Pawnee Rd.
Nathaniel R. Hein, 21, rural Hillsboro, hit a deer at 7:20 p.m. Nov. 19 with his 2006 Dodge Ram 1500, which remained drivable with damage to its left side.
US-56/77 north of 280th Rd.
Passenger Nedra E. Syring, 72, Alta Vista, was injured at 7:53 p.m. Nov. 19 but not taken to a hospital by ambulance after Roger E. Syring, 77, of the same address, hit a deer with his 2014 Ford Escape.
The car was listed as destroyed with damage to its front half, windshield, and undercarriage.
US-56 north of 270th Rd.
Two vehicles struck a deer in the roadway between 7:10 and 7:14 a.m. Thursday.
Douglas R. Hamilton, 59, Chapman, hit the deer with his 2022 Volkswagen Taos, which sustained disabling damage to its left front and was towed.
Cory M. Wagner, 39, Bel Aire, hit the deer with his 2024 Chevrolet Silverado, which also was towed with disabling damage to its front.
Indigo Rd. north of 110th Rd.
Natalie F. Goodman, 21, Wichita, hit a deer at 6:20 p.m. Thursday with a 2013 Acura ATL owned by Eric L. Goodman of a different Wichita address.
The car sustained disabling damage to its front third and undercarriage and was towed.
Zaid E.C. Flynn, 21, Hillsboro, was a passenger.

300 block of N. Washington St.
Mark S. Conner, 65, Hillsboro, hit an Atmos Energy gas meter with his 1983 GMC pickup at 2 p.m. Nov. 20.
