These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

120th Rd. west of Chisholm Trail Rd.

A right rear blowout at 12:40 p.m. Sept. 8 caused Shane M. O’Neill, 45, Goessel, to lose control of a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt.

The car, owned by Donna T. O’Neill of the same address, ran off the road to the right, came back across the center line, and smashed into an unspecified fixed object.

It sustained disabling damage to its front, hood, and undercarriage and was towed.

Jordan S. Lewis, 30, rural Goessel, was a passenger at the time.

Pawnee Rd. north of 220th Rd.

Driver Norman D. Dirks, 67, Hillsboro, was taken by ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital after the load on a 1995 International truck he was driving for Cooperative Grain and Supply shifted while he was slowing at 3:29 p.m. Sept. 8, and the truck rolled into the right ditch.

The entire truck sustained disabling damage and was towed.

190th Rd. west of Quail Creek Rd.

Overcorrection was blamed for an injury accident at 5:37 a.m. Thursday in which Jessica M. Snyder, 42, Marion, drove her 2024 Ford Escape off the right side of the road and into a ditch, traveling 322 feet before striking a culvert, becoming airborne for 20 feet, and finally stopping 407 feet from where it left the road.

She was taken by ambulance to St. Luke Hospital, Marion. Her car sustained disabling damage to its front third and undercarriage and was towed.
