Ag teacher resigns at Centre

Staff writer

The Centre USD 397 board of education met Tuesday in a special session regarding personnel.

They first met in executive session to discuss non-elected personnel.

In open session, they accepted the resignation of Mark Hager as vocational agriculture teacher, effective at the end of the school year. They instructed the superintendent to begin looking for a replacement.

The board also re-employed former board clerk Peggy Falen as a temporary consultant to the new board clerk, Traci Alt, to complete her training.
