Alvin H. Neufeld, 90, of Hillsboro died Feb. 4 in Newton.
He was born March 14, 1920, in Balko, Okla., to John J. and Pauline (Karber) Neufeld.
He was a missionary, pastor, and a member of Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church of rural Hillsboro.
On June 3, 1945, he married Ruth E. Heidebrbcht in Ingalls.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Hillsboro; two sons, Philip of Charlotte, N.C. and Stan of McPherson; three daughters, Phebe Goldsmith of Springfield, Mo., Naomi Jeanne Wiebe of Newton, and Rebecca Wall of Selma, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church, rural Hillsboro. The Rev. Gaylord Goertzen will officiate.
Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ebenfeld Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
Memorial funds have been established with Crusader Ministry and Evangelical Covenant Church in care of Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
