Dora and Ron Unruh

Couple to celebrate 65th anniversary

The family of Ron and Dora (Duerksen) Unruh is requesting a card shower to honor the couple’s 65th wedding anniversary.

They were married June 1, 1955, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel.

They made their home northwest of Durham, having lived and farmed in the area all their lives. Dora also was a cook at Hillsboro High School for many years. 

Their four children are Brenda Enns, Hillsboro; Deb Hiebert, Peabody; Mark Unruh, Durham; and Warren Unruh, Tampa. The couple has 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
