Duane and Agatha (Schmidt) Duerksen of rural Hillsboro, who were married July 26, 1970, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in Goessel, will celebrate their 50th anniversary July 26.

A train trip to California with family has been postponed. The trip was to include daughter Trissa and husband Matthew McCabe of Buhler; and sons Chelan and wife Megan Duerksen of rural Hillsboro, and Treg and wife Candace Duerksen of Friant, California.

Grandchildren include Cale and Mace McCabe, Caden, Cambry, Delaney, Chayce, Finn, and Boden Duerksen.
