Athletes honored

Calli Burkholder and Nathan Hoffner have been named Novembers Champions of Character at Marion High School.

The award announcement says Burkholder kept a good attitude while working hard, not only in the classroom but also on the courts. She plays a big role in leading volleyball and basketball teams.

Hoffner has been a leader for his team as well as a respectful student. The award announcement says he values doing the right thing, is trusted by his teammates and coaches. He had handled adversity with a great attitude.
