A day that started out with a temperature in the upper 30s warmed to near 80 Saturday at Lincolnville’s Octoberfest celebration.

According to mayor Barb Kaiser, attendance was down from previous years, but those who were there had a good time.

“We were grateful to have Gene Winkler as our master of ceremonies,” Kaiser said.

The 15-minute parade was led by a Ft. Riley color guard and the Centre Boy Scouts.
