Author talks about work with Mother Teresa
Linda Schaefer, author of three books on Mother Teresa’s worldwide mission, will speak at 2 p.m. Feb. 17 at Holy Family Catholic Church Parish Activity Center, 415 N. Cedar, Marion.
Schaefer’s work with Mother Teresa spans two decades. She started as a volunteer with the Order of the Missionaries of Charities.
She now gathers historical documentation and witness accounts from people who were instrumental in Mother’s mission of serving the most in need in communities worldwide.
Schafer’s third book on Mother Teresa is coming out this fall. Her first two books will be available for purchase after the talk, and she will sign them.
Her two earlier books on Mother Teresa are: “Come and See: A Photojournalist’s Journey into the World of Mother Teresa,” and “Prophetess of Our Time: Conversations with Father Benedict Groeschel and Monsignor John Esseff.”
Hot tea will be served, bring a snack to share if you wish.
