Lincolnville Octoberfest

After several years without the celebration, Lincolnville once again will have its Octoberfest on Saturday.

Activities will begin with a 2 p.m. parade down Main St. and around the park. All other events will be at the park.

Musical entertainment will include Jaydon Evans at 3 p.m. and guitarist John Richard at 4 p.m.

A street dance with music by Hyway Fourteen Band will begin at 7 p.m. on the street west of the park.

Other events will include a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at 3 p.m., a corn hole tournament at 4 p.m., and a talent show at 6 p.m.

Drawings for door prizes and medallion hunt clues will be at the top of every hour. Vendors and inflatables will be available from 2 to 6 p.m.

The Octoberfest committee includes chairman Cristina Peterson and members Leann Troutt, Barb and Lester Kaiser, Shelby Bucca, and Sabrina Carson.

Selena Diepenbrock, Brandy Hanson, Pray Diepenbrock, and others have volunteered to assist with activities.

The theme is “Back in Action,” Peterson said.

“It’s been three years since we’ve done this due to COVID,” she said.
