Members of the Marion High School baseball and softball teams were recognized by Heart of America League coaches with selections to the all-league teams, announced this week.
Baseball
Pitcher Bret Voth, catcher Caleb Williams, first baseman Taylor Heidebrecht, second baseman Zach Robson, and outfielder Grif Case all received first-team honors. Luke Steele, Dylan Seacat, Zac Lewman, and Jacob Baldwin were named to the second team.
The entire baseball starting lineup was named to either the first or second team, so there were no Marion players who received honorable mention.
Marion had as many first-team selections as league co-champion Sedgwick had between first team, second team, and honorable mention combined.
Softball
Pitcher Megan Richmond, infielder Shelby Felvus, and outfielder Shyla Harris were named to the second team, and infielder Kayla Kroupa received honorable mention.
