Beekeeper to talk to seniors

A noon meal and a presentation by Hillsboro beekeeper John McMinn are planned for Senior Citizens of Marion County’s 64th annual meeting at noon Oct. 17 at Hillsboro Senior Center.

Donations to support a scholarship for a county high school senior planning to study a field related to aging will be accepted.

Registration for the program and meal, which will cost $7, is being accepted until Oct. 7 at the county department on aging, (620) 382-3580, and local senior centers.
