Bernice Mae Kaiser, 83, of Winfield, died Sept. 20, 2008, at Winfield.
Born June 5, 1925, on the family farm in Thomas County, she was the daughter of John and Susie (Corke) Moss.
On June 5, 1943, she married Marvin L. Kaiser at Durham. The couple made their first home at Durham, then moved to Hillsboro where they lived from 1952 until 1962, when they made their home at Winfield. Bernice worked as a seamstress in Hillsboro.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bernice was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Moss.
Survivors include two sons, Randall and Gordon of Winfield; daughter, Peggy Rikli of Linn; brother, Ralph Moss of Palisade, Colo.; sister, Ruth Nelson of Johnstown, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Winfield.
Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Durham Park Cemetery, Durham.
Memorials have been established in her name with Trinity Lutheran School or Winfield Good Samaritan Village.
