Berniece Ensz

Services for Berniece J. Ensz, 88, Lawrence, who died Thursday, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church Cemetery.

Born July 7, 1932, in Hillsboro, to Herman and Hazel Balzer, she graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1950.

She married Victor Ensz on Aug. 30, 1952, at Hillsboro Evangelical Church.

Survivors include daughters Vicki Schmidt of Topeka and Debbie Mishler of Lawrence, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and sisters Joyce Unruh, Jean Nestor, and Jacque Herzet.

Memorials have been established with the Alzheimer and Memory Program at the University of Kansas; Midland Care Hospice Services, Topeka; and Topeka First United Methodist Church.
