Betty Thompson

Betty L. Thompson, 88, of Marion died Saturday at St. Luke Living Center. She was born April 29, 1925, in Olathe.

She worked for 25 years in the Marion County Treasurer’s office and 15 years at Farmers and Drovers Bank in Marion.

She married Tommy Thompson on Dec. 16, 1946. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters, Melody Keazer of Rogers, Ark., and Renda Robertson of Wichita; a brother, Monty Frazier of Wichita; a sister, Marjorie Davis of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Marion Christian Church. Family will greet friends at the church from noon until the service. Interment will follow at Marion Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established with the church.
