Jordan and Courtney Riggs of Anthony announce the birth of a son, Jacen Gideon Riggs, on Oct. 9, 2019. He weighed 7 pounds, 7.9 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Rob and Stephanie Mocabee of Manhattan. Paternal grandparents are Dennis and Brenda Riggs of Peabody.

Sandra Carr of Benson, Arizona, is the baby’s maternal great-grandmother.
