Drew and Rachel Thalmann of Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Abby Colette Thalmann, Aug. 17, 2008, at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson.

She weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 21¾ inches long.

Grandparents are Steve and Phoebe Janzen of Marion and Lynn and Stephanie Thalmann of Haven.

Great-grandparents are Early and Lucy Janzen of Peabody, Jack and Margie Heyman of Missouri, Wayne and Jacki Carstenson of Halstead, Virgil and Helen McCreary of Wellington, and Betty Thalmann of Haven.
