David and Heather Darrow of Olathe announce the birth of their daughter, Amelia Pearl, born Oct. 8, 2008, at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe.

She weighed 6.5 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Grandparents are Charles and Kay Tajchman and Jim and Kaye Darrow, all of Marion.

Great-grandparents are Leo and Peggy Blackman, Neva Applegate, and Ellen Darrow, all of Marion.
