Avery Kalua

Kevin and Cameron Kalua of Hillsboro announce the birth of a son, Avery Kauluhaimalama Franklin Kalua, Jan. 12 at Mercy Hospital, Moundridge.

He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces and was 21¼ inches long.

His siblings, Kiersten, 10, Elias, 7, and Kanaloa and Marley, 1, welcomed him home.

Gordon and Karen Wiebe of Hillsboro and Bernadette Kalua of Hau’ula, Hawaii, are his grandparents.

His great-grandmother is Violet Bartel of Hillsboro.
