Jess and Kimberly Whiteman of Marion announce the birth of a son, Ivan Daniel, born Aug. 18 at Mercy Regional Hospital in Manhattan. He weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. He has two siblings, Aubrey, 4, and Kipton, 2.

Grandparents are Gail and Louise Whiteman of Marion and Paul and Linda Harden of Ashland.

Great grandparents are the late Melvin and late Georgia Whiteman, of Marion; the late Ron and late Ruby Hett, of Marion; Willis and the late Velmaree Harden, of Ashland; and the late Leonard and Audrey Mullenix, of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
