Jess and Kimberly Whiteman of Marion announce the birth of a son, Kipton Isaiah Whiteman, born March 21, 2012, in Manhattan.

He weighed 8 lbs., 9 ounces and was 20.5 inches long at birth. He has an older sister, 21-month-old Aubrey Whiteman.

Gail and Louise Whiteman of Marion and Paul and Linda Harden of Ashland are his grandparents. Willis Harden of Ashland and Leonard and Audrey Mullenix of Las Cruces, N.M., are his great-grandparents.
