James and Heather Schlehuber of rural Marion announce the birth of their son, Samuel Christopher Schlehuber, on Dec. 23 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

He weighed 10 pounds, 10 ounces and was 22 inches long.

Welcoming him home were Elise, 9, Gabriella, 7, Magdalen, 4, and Isaac, 2.

Randall and Paula Marler of Sedgwick, Charles Schlehuber of Marion, and Larry and Nancy Lalouette of Cedar Point are the baby’s grandparents.
