Nick and Stephanie Kraus of Marion announce the birth of a son, Teegan Rein, born Aug. 21, 2008, at Newton Medical Center.

He weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 20½ inches long.

He and his 2½-year-old sister, Haley are the grandchildren of Don and Vickie Kraus of Marion and Larry and Teresa Goodwin of Burns.

Great-grandparents are Rita Kraus of Marion, Howard and Norma Schmidt of Hillsboro, and Ron and Fern Goodwin of Burns.

Reva Goodwin of Moundridge is the great-great-grandmother.
