Kevin and Tina Steele and Wendy and Matt Buchanan, all of Marion, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Symba, to Brent Cleeton, son of Rick and Cathy Cleeton of Marion.

Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Albert and Kay Steele and Alvin and Bernadeen Winter, all of Marion. Grandparents of the groom-to-be are Betty and the late Melvin Cleeton of Green City, Mo., and Merle and Nova Bruner of Marion.

Steele is attending Flint Hills Technical College in pursuit of a nursing degree. Cleeton is an assistant manager at Marion Marble and Granite.

The wedding and reception are scheduled for Oct. 6 in Marion.
