Bruce Bartel

Bruce Bartel, 63, died May 1 at Hillsboro Community Hospital in Hillsboro.

Born Sept. 3, 1953, to Morris and Vera (Berg) Bartel in Hillsboro, he married Patricia Johnson on Oct. 26, 1974, in Hillsboro.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Bartel of Hillsboro; son, Christopher Bartel of Las Vegas, Nevada; mother, Vera Bartel of Hillsboro; and two grandchildren.

A memorial reception was Saturday at First Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall in Hillsboro.
