SATURDAY

9 a.m. — Exhibit of Immigrant trunks. Hillsboro Museum.

2 p.m. — First Amendment presentation by former Wichita Eagle editor W. Davis “Buzz” Merritt Jr., Marion City Library.

Tuesday

8 a.m. — Redneck in Ramona. Country breakfast, activities, redneck-themed parade, obstacle lawn mower race, pie eating and spam carving contest, ending with fireworks.

All day — Peabody’s 96th annual celebration. Family activities, dining and fireworks.
