MNKS Catfish Club will sponsor a catfish tournament from 6 p.m. to midnight June 27 at Marion County Park and Lake.

Total weight of catfish at a midnight weigh-in will determine the winner.

Drinking will not be allowed, and all normal fishing rules will be observed. Up to five catfish of any variety will be accepted.

Number of participants will determine prize money.

“There’s gonna be a 75/25 split,” club president Shannon Allen said. “Seventy-five percent of registration fees go to the winner, and 25 percent go to our club.”
