Centre boys have experience

After coaching a young team with several freshmen starters last year, Richard Idleman will be working this year with players who have experience.
Returning starters include seniors Mikey Silhan, Tanner Stuchlik, Luke Hudson, and Quinten Bina and sophomore Santiago Knepp.
Senior Kyle Peterson, junior Matthew Basore, and sophomores Gentri Holub, Kaigen Brewer, and Nick Krch will see more playing time.
“Having so many returning underclassmen is a positive,” Idleman said.
The team is focusing on improving defensive skills, he said.
He expects Little River, Solomon, and Canton-Galva to be tough opponents.
Idleman is in his seventh year as boys head coach. Phil Duerksen is his assistant.
