On excellent shooting from Kordell Harding, Rustyn Kerbs, and Jacob Jirak, the team defeated Hope Friday, 47-41.
A good first quarter score of 15-5 gave the Cougars a jump start. They were outscored by eight points in the next two quarters, but a 10-6 fourth quarter scoring advantage by Centre resulted in a six-point win.
Harding and Kerbs finished in double figures with Harding scoring 16 points and Kerbs 13.

Kerbs scored six points in the first quarter, leading the Cougars to a 14-5 advantage. Houston Svoboda, Heath Hill, and Jirak made field goals.
