Centre FFA members traveled to Marion on Thursday to participate in several career development events.

In the district poultry contest, the A-team of JayCe Johnson, Tom Oborny, Braden Pagenkopf, and Carrie Carlson placed eighth. Cassidy Hill, Connor Montgomery, Dakota Stimpson, and Mark Vinduska competed in the Greenhand division.

In ag business management, the A-team of Carlson, Justin Deines, Shane Methvin, and Oborny placed fourth. Makenzie Deines, Chad Mueller, Timothy Vinduska, and Ty Simons were on the B-team. Individually, Carlson placed ninth overall and Mueller placed 10th overall.

In entomology, the A-team of Genesis Rudolph, Ellie Miller, and Shelby Svitak placed sixth. The Greenhand team of Dani Beck, Tabitha Oborny, Nellie Kassebaum, and Shelby Makovec placed third.

Callie Riffel, Tia Jenkins, and Kailyn Riffel also participated.
