The Centre volleyball team won its first game of the season last week at Inman.

“It feels good to start the season with a win,” coach Karen Nickel said.

They lost the first match 19-25 and won the next two, 25-18 and 25-14, for the win.

Centre won the second match of the second game, 25-17, but lost the first, 16-25, and the third, 15-25.

“Their hitters were more aggressive and we struggled to fill some holes,” Nickel said. “My team worked hard and never gave up.”
