The Centre board of education reinstated ag teacher Cherie Trieb Friday in a special meeting.

Trieb was suspended without pay Sept. 9 after her teaching license expired Sept. 8.

The board took action to reinstate Trieb after receiving notice that her license had been renewed by the state.

Superintendent Brian Smith said he met with Trieb Monday, and she was back in the classroom Tuesday. The board approved back pay for the days she missed.
