Centre students visit cadaver lab

Center High School teacher Cindy Riedel took her anatomy and physiology and crime scene investigations students to visit the human cadaver lab and Biology Department Friday at Cloud County Community College in Concordia.

The college offered the visit as a way to get high school students more interested in studying biology and other sciences in their post-secondary education.

Seniors Amy Makovec, Cacey Simons, and Terren Thompson and juniors Nellie Kassebaum, Courtney Mai, and Callie and Kailyn Riffel all attended and received information on what they can learn from utilizing cadavers to study the human body.

Students also attended a presentation on wind generators.
