CENTRE: Underclassmen top CHS track team results at Canton-Galva meet

In the first meet of the season, Centre High School track team competed April 6 at Canton-Galva with four other schools.

The girls placed third and the boys placed fifth.

Sophomore Theo Kassebaum placed first in high hurdles with a time of 18 seconds. Freshman Ellie Miller placed first in high jump, scaling 5 feet.

“I was pleased with our first meet efforts and our ability to be competitive in most events,” CHS Track Coach Alan Stahlecker said.
