Charles E. Miller Jr., 77, of Herington, died Oct. 31 at his home.
Born Feb. 15, 1933, at Salina, to Charles E. Sr. and Mary L. (Hickey) Miller, he graduated from Salina High School in 1951 and moved to Herington in 1969.
He married Yvonne J. White on June 17, 1953, in Salina.
He was an engineer for Union Pacific Railroad and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington.
Daughter Valerie Ives, sister Gloria Sharp, and his parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne, of Herington; two sons, Steven of Smithville, Mo., and Rich of Vancouver, Wash.; two daughters, Julie Deines of Ramona and Connie Harmon of Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Jack, and a sister, Norma Johnson, of Salina; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Herington, with the Rev. Bill Peterson officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Salina, with full military honors.
