Charles and James Bina, individually and as administrators of the estates of their parents, Denice and Raymond Bina, filed a petition Friday seeking court approval of a settlement with Andrew Cezar. Cezar allegedly was involved in a series of events July 17, 2021, that led to a car being driven by Denice Bina to come into contact with a vehicle driven by Evan Newman. Newman is not a party to the agreement. The petition asks that a settlement of $47,000 be divided between the estates of Denice and Raymond Bina. Accident reports at the time of the wreck said Denice Bina, 65, was southbound on I-135 when she lost control of her 2008 Lincoln MKZ and skidded into the path of a northbound 2019 Freightliner semi trailer driven by Newman.
